After this legendary list 'did' Bond.. who's the next Bond girl?

Freida Pinto?

Unless the theme this time around is James Bond getting rid of his gizmos to empathize with the recession, and hires an extra-slim Bond girl unlike her abundantly endowed predecessors.. Pinto does not have a chance.

And then came the news that she is not in the running for a Bond girl.

I think it's her over-active PR team that is doing all this, in trying to continually pitch her as the next Aishwarya Rai.. right from her walking the red carpet at the Oscars' being compared to Aishwarya's Cannes appearances, to her role in an international movie (Slumdog and the Woody Allen flick) being compared to Aishwarya's appearance in Pink Panther 2.. it's all out in the open. 

What Freida doesn't realize is that Mrs. Rai-Bachchan can act.. at least, a li'l bit.

Ms. Pinto is yet to prove that side of herself.
